Tim Sparks
Tim Sparks is an award-winning guitarist whose blending of musical styles has won him extensive praise from all corners of the music world. Guitar Player Magazine has called his music "Fresh, exotic, and totally cool.", Acoustic Guitar Magazine calls it "rich and sensuous", and guitarist Leo Kottke simply says "He's really one of the best musicians I know." From the early traditional country blues and gospel music he learned in the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Jazz, Be Bop, classical and world music from his varied career across the U. S. and Europe, Tim has thrilled and inspired audiences and musicians world-wide.
Sam Breckenridge
Sam Breckenridge quickly established his presence in the Minneapolis music scene in 1999 as the principal songwriter of the acoustic duo “Afterall”, along with singer / lyricist Tim Griesgraber. Sam’s expressive acoustic guitar playing and his natural ability to create striking original compositions allowed Afterall to enjoy over 10 years of regular performances in Minneapolis / St. Paul’s finest venues. Sam has been featured in the “Minnesota Guitarist” magazine, has been featured in several of The Minnesota Guitar Society’s showcases. In September 2013, Sam’s original composition “Much Obliged” was included in City Pages “Top 10 Must See MN Music Videos". Since then Sam has released three CD’s that included five singles featured on the world renowned Candyrat Records Youtube channel, "Chayne", "Looking back", "Got Nothing", “Reconcile" and "Into the Dark".
Dan Schwartz
Starting at the very beginning, his dad’s interest in The Grand Ole Opry and his mom’s fondness for American Bandstand immersed Dan Schwartz in a wide variety of great music. This influence resonates in the range of music he composes, records and performs today in his solo work and with group: The Neighborhood Quartet. Dan has written and released nine CDs and has been featured on several internationally released acoustic guitar compilations including Narada Records Masters of Acoustic Guitar. His recordings have earned him a nomination for guitarists of the year (Minnesota Music Academy) and local Folk/roots album of the year (Mpls. St Paul Magazine).
Casey Smithley
Casey Smithley is an instrumental solo guitarist who performs original and cover tunes. In 2017 Casey was a finalist in the Wilson Center fingerstyle guitar competition. In 2019 Casey won second place in the Wilson Center fingerstyle competition.
